It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted a date night. Yall, I’m going to do better. Maybe I’ll try to commit to posting bi-weekly. Last year, we had a date night with Project VR, it’s a virtual reality company. They came to our house and let us experience the magic in the privacy of our own home. This week’s Weeknight Date Night was selected by me and we had a BALL at Rabbit Hole.

We had a reservation online for 7:30. Their site is very user-friendly. We arrived a few minutes early to sign in and go through orientation. Their space is so cool! Orientation took about 10 minutes and we were ready to get started. They have 12 total VR screens and they are sectioned off in groups of 2. We started by playing Snow Fortress against each other. We played two games, and Anthony totally blew me out of the water both times. While playing the game Snow Fortress you are both snowmen. When the time starts you take huge snow blocks and build your fortress. When the time is up the game starts. You take you slingshot and hurl snowballs at your opponent to breakdown their fortress. Another cool feature is we could hear each other in our headsets while playing. So, it’s easy to talk trash during the game lol.

After we played Snow Fortress, we played separate games. I felt like the biggest kid playing Fruit Ninja. Anthony spent a lot of his time playing Cowboys and Aliens. We both played a couple games of basketball. At any time during your session you can click out of the game and see how much time you have left to play. Let me tell you that 30 minutes flew by, and by the end we were both sweating lol.
