Hey yall, I’m back with another edition of Weeknight Date Night. It’s summertime here in the south which means it’s time to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city. What better way to do that than riding through the streets of Nashville on an Electric Glider?
Anthony and I have previously participated in a painting/cooking class at Dabble Studio. One year, I had a private mixology/cooking class for my birthday. Listen, they offer a ton of options. When I received an email about their new tour I HAD to take part in this adventure.
Let me give you a little background first:
The electric gliders are extremely well-balanced and easy to maneuver. Sine they are stable and safe, they can go places that are tough to reach by car, walking, or even bike (like up hills in the heat, while you create your own breeze!)
Dabble Studio provides interesting commentary along the way – highlighting some of the history and cultural points of the city, as well as reaching places that you may not visit (or even know about) normally).
The tours are good for local people, who can learn some new facts and have a fun outing, or for visitors who want a fun way to get an overview of our city.
Dabble Studio also offers other fun things to do, including Cooking/Painting Classes in their Germantown studio. Their food fours (both walking and van-based) offer you a chance to try out some new food and drink while learning about the city. Great for date night, but also for bachelorette groups, company team building, etc.
Our tour started at 9:30am with an orientation to the glider and then we do some practice riding in the parking lot. Our guide, TJ provided us with a great amount of information and instructions so we felt comfortable very quickly! After we got accustomed to the gliders it was time to hit the city and do some sightseeing.
Anthony and I were the only locals in our group, but I feel we learned just as much about the city as the other guests. Wait, let me correct myself. Anthony is a Nashville Native and he was an eager beaver raising his hand wanting to answer some of the questions TI asked. One really cool feature is that each person had an earbud so they could hear TJ the whole time. We’ve been on other tours and it’s very frustrating when you can’t hear what the guide is saying and you miss important information. Towards the end of the tour TJ “let us loose” in the parking lot and we were able to test the speed. I was able to get up to 18 mph before I had to turn the corner. The group then visited The Farmers Market for some tasty Jeni’s ice cream. The tour was about two hours.
I HIGHLY recommend this tour. TJ was a great guide and we learned so much about the history of not only Nashville, but Tennessee as a whole. The electric gilders were very easy to maneuver and enjoy. This was the perfect summer date night.

This looks like a fun date day/night. I would definitely do this around Atlanta so I can learn more of the history. This type of date would also be perfect for my hometown Charleston.

Love your date night activities! Keep them up, it keeps the relationship fun and exciting. I would do an activity like this one. I also like the fact that they have earbuds so you can hear as your riding!
